Bang Overseas is engaged in providing fashion fabrics and ready-to-wear requirements in the apparel, textile and retail segments. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Jun. 01, 1992 and converted into a public limited company on Feb. 04, 2005.
The company offers men`s casual and formal cotton jackets, linen shirts, cotton shirts and knits, linen trousers, soft cotton polo shirts, jeans, crisply-laundered shirts, complimenting ties and belts in fresh colors. It has its seasonal fabric collection in textile under the brand name Bodywaves and ready-to-wear men`s garments under the brand name Thomas Scott. The two manufacturing units are located in Bangalore with installed capacities of 720,000 and 540,000 pieces per annum. The centralized warehousing and logistic centre is located in Kalher village near Bhiwandi.
The products are presently retailed through 157 point of sales comprising of 12 retail outlets and 3 franchise outlets, Shoppers` Stop, Pyramid, Globus, LOOT, SAGA, multi brand outlets across India, and custom requirements of various other apparel manufacturer and brands. The company has outsourcing contracts from Turkey, Portugal, Mauritius and other European Countries.
