Datamatics Technologies (DATATECH) is an information technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) company. Founded by Dr. Lalit S. Kanodia (executive chairman) in 1975, the company was incorporated on Nov. 3, 1987 and got its current name on Jan. 13, 2000. The vice chairman and chief executive officer is Rahul L. Kanodia.
The company provides services in the categories of document processing including documents, forms and text processing and healthcare claims processing; finance and accounting including accounts payable, tax processing, financial transaction processing, and accounts receivable; content management including publishing services, creative services, legal BPO and KPO; and consulting practice including data integration and warehousing and document warehousing and workflow. The company has three production facilities at Detroit, Boston and Vernon (CT) in USA. Besides, it has two Indian production facilities in Mumbai and Chennai.
The company has obtained ISO 9001-2000 and BS-7799 quality and security certifications, and the company`s consulting services practice is CMM Level 5 certified by the Software Engineering Institute. The company has been awarded the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award (RBNQA) for 2006 in the service category and is the first and only Indian services organization to win the International Asia Pacific Quality Award.
