Euro Ceramics (EUROCERA) manufactures vitrified tiles, aluminum extrusion sections and trades in ceramic wall tiles. The company was incorporated on April 16, 2002 as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company on Nov. 16, 2004.
The company manufactures vitrified ceramic tiles in various series like mono colors, marble, matt (oxidized), rustics, granite (salt and pepper) and full body (multicharge). The aluminum extruded sections include tubes, frames for doors and windows, panels and strips, ..etc. It markets its products under the brand name EURO. Manufacturing facilities are located in Bhachau, Kutch district, Gujarat. The installed capacity for vitrified ceramic tiles is 79,971 MTPA and 1,800 MPTA for aluminum extruded sections with machinery from SACMI, Italy. The company has commenced commercial production of calcarious tiles in Bhachau with a production capacity of approximately 45,000 tons per annum. The company is expanding into sanitary ware with installed manufacturing capacity of 11,000 MTPA by 2007-2008.
EUROCERA has ventured into wall tiles and provides an international range of wall tiles with matching borders and motifs. It also has a lignite-based 10 MW captive power plant at its plant. The vitrified ceramic tiles manufactured by the company find applications in residential complexes, commercial complexes (SEZs, IT parks, airports, hotels, call centers, etc.) and retail (shopping malls, multiplexes, etc.). Aluminum extruded sections are used in construction and industrial applications.
