Jain Irrigation Systems (JAINIRRIG) has varied business interests including agri products, irrigation, PVC and polyethylene, and lighting systems. The company was incorporated on Dec. 30, 2007.
The company manufactures drip and sprinkler irrigation systems and components, PVC, polyethylene and polypropylene piping systems, plastic sheets, processed fruits, dehydrated onions and vegetables, tissue culture, hybrid and grafted plants, greenhouses, poly and shade houses, solar water heating systems and solar photovoltaic appliances, and bio-fertilizers. The manufacturing plants and R&D facilities are in Jalgaon (Maharashtra), Hyderabad and Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Baroda (Gujarat), Udumalpet (Tamil Nadu), and Water Town, NuCedar, and Aquarius Brands Inc. (USA). The company is expanding its manufacturing capacity in drip irrigation and pipes with two new facilities in North and South India.
Jain Irrigation Systems is a pioneer in micro irrigation systems in India. It has an annual processing capacity of over 150,000 MT of different polymers, a mango pulp processing capacity around 60,000 MT per annum. All the divisions are ISO 9001:9002 certified with the irrigation, plastic piping and plastic sheet divisions being ISO 9001:2001 & ISO-14001:2004 accredited by RWTUV, Germany and the food division additionally certified with HACCP, SGF & KOSHER.
The company secured a Rs 840 million order from Hindustan Coca Cola Company for the supply of mango pulp in June 2007. It acquired Chapin Watermatics Inc, New York, USA through its second generation WOS Jain (Americas) Inc, Ohio, USA; Aquarius Brands California, USA; and Naandan Irrigation Systems, (C.S.), Israel via a wholly-owned subsidiary in Netherlands. The company is a major supplier to many MNCs and to global leading beverage and food brands.
