SPL Industries (SPLIL), incorporated as a private limited company on Dec. 06, 1991, is a manufacturer and exporter of knitted fabric and knitted garments. Earlier known as Shivalik Prints, it acquired its present name on Sep. 26, 1994 and went public on Jun. 29, 2005.
A range of outer wear like T-shirts, sweat shirts, polo shirts, and other garments are manufactured by the company. It engages in knitting, singeing, mercerizing, dyeing and processing, sueding and peaching of fabric; washing, printing and dyeing of garments, manufacturing of knitted garments and sweaters; machine, hand and computerized embroidery. Five factories located in Faridabad have total annual installed capacities of 20 million garments, 8,000 MT processing and dyeing, and 7,000 MT knitted fabrics.
State-of-the-art R&D facilities with a design studio keeps track of customer needs. The company has been accorded the status of a two star export house and enjoys long-term relationships with key customers like Gap Inc., USA; JC Penney Company, Canada; Kohl`s Corporation, Mexico, and Federated Department Store, UK. Other customers include Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, Germany; Hartmax Corporation, Spain; Sears, Roebuck and Co., Netherlands; Haggar Clothing Co., Middle East; and others.
