Zenith Exports (ZENITHEX) is one of the leading export houses in India. It was incorporated as a public limited company on Jul. 23, 1981.
The company has its operations spread over various divisions namely, silk division, spinning division, leather division and leasing finance. Its silks division is located at Kolkata, Bhagalpur, Bangalore and Mysore. The Kolkata and Bangalore divisions export handloom and power loom fabrics such as tussar, matka, noil, katiya, spun fabrics and embroideries/accessories like scarfs and bags. The ISO 9001:2000 certified Mysore silk division has 32 shuttleless and produces women`s wear, bridal wear and other fabrics.
The leather division operates from Kolkata and is engaged in the manufacture and exports of industrials leather hand gloves and leather made-ups. The spinning division has its manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad with 22,960 spindles focusing on premium segments of the international cotton yarn market such as melange yarns and also manufactures synthetic blended yarns from dyed fibers. The response to the velvet fabrics produced by the company has been very encouraging in FY07. The realization levels are also very much on the higher side which will bring up the average realization per meter.

Financials
The company announced fall of 273.08% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 4.50 million, while total income rose 21.33% y-o-y basis to Rs 632.00 million for the quarter ended December 2010. |
