Aanjaneya Lifecare Limited Company Profile

The company was incorporated in 2006, but it commenced commercial production of APIs (active pharmaceuticals ingredients) of quinine salts (a second generation anti malarial), in 2007. In 2010, the company ventured into manufacturing of finished dosage forms by acquiring the assets of Prophyla Biologicals Pvt. through an asset purchase agreement dated March 30, 2010 and deed of assignment for trademarks dated April 1, 2010. Recent Developments 15-JUL-11 Mumbai based Aanjaneya Lifecare, one of the largest contract manufacturers of codeine based cough syrups in India has posted profit after tax (PAT) growth of 2.39 times to Rs 360.1 million for FY11 from Rs 150.8 million for the previous year. 28-JUN-11 Mumbai-based Aanjaneya Lifecare has received the certificate of suitability (CEP) from EDQM for two of its bulk drugs Quinine Sulphate & Quinine Hydrochloride. 09-MAY-11 Aanjaneya Lifecare is entering the capital market on May 9, 2011 with a public issue of 50 lakh equity shares of Rs.10 each, priced between Rs. 228-240 a share, aiming to mop Rs 1.2 billion at the upper price band. The issue, constituting 39.76% of post issue paid-up capital of the company, closes on May 12.
