JIK Industries Limited Company Profile

JIK Industries, earlier named Krishna Finstock Limited, was incorporated in 1990. The company?s businesses include manufacturing crystal, financial services and distribution. The company is a pioneer in the manufacture of lead free crystal glass products in India. JIK Industries is also a RBI -registered full-fledged moneychanger. JIK is involved in distributing products like Clorets, Halls, Chiclets etc for Warner Lambert and bulbs, tubes, lamps and fixtures for GE lighting. The company has tied up with RECI Industry AB, a part of the Swedish group Euroc AB, to set up a waste management and recycling plant. The plant, imported from Sweden, recovers around 300 tonnes of liquid solvents a year and the recycled solvents find use in the paint, chemical and pharma industries. In October 1998, the company?s first showroom exclusively stocking and selling crystal glass products was opened in Mumbai. In FY98, the company transferred its merchant banking activities to Jagruti Securities Ltd., an associate company.
