Mangalam Timber Products Limited Company Profile

Mangalam Timber Products (MANGTIMB), a part of the diverse B.K. Birla group, is engaged in the manufacture of medium density fiber board (MDF). It was incorporated on Aug. 27, 1982. The ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certified company manufactures both plain and pre-laminated MDF. It markets its products under the brand name Duratuff. The products find application in modular furniture, computer tables, workstations, partition panels inserts, cupboard shutters, shoe heels, and wall clock cabinets among other products. The manufacturing plant in technical collaboration with G Siempelkamp, Germany and Jim Walterr Corpn, USA is located in the Nabarangpur district of Orissa with installed capacities of 30,000 MTPA and 13,200 MTPA formaldehyde. In FY07, the company undertook the plantation of about 14,000 acres under agreement with farmers to buy timber at pre-determined or market price. It has undertaken a total of over 60,000 acres as on March 31, 2007. The company markets its products through its network of branches throughout the country. The registered office of the company is located at Kusumi, Nabarangpur, Orissa-764059.
