Ruchi Soya Industries (RUCHISOYA), the flagship company of the Ruchi group of industries, is a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) company. It was incorporated on Jan. 6, 1986. The company offers soya foods like soya flour, chunks and granules; edible oils like vitamin oil, filtered groundnut oil, soyabean oil, sunflower oil, mustard oil, palm oil, and bran oil; vanaspati; bakery fats, and soaps. The company offers its products under top brands such as Soyumm, Soyabean, Ruchi Gold, Palmoline and Sunrich. The company has 15 refineries and 10 inland crushing plants. It has an installed crushing capacity of 4150 metric tons per day. The company is ISO 14001:1996, ISO 9001:2000, and CCVD-HACCP:September 2002 (Rev.3) certified. Recent awards include the Dun & Bradstreet award of being the number 1 food processing company in India at the American Express Corporate Awards 2006 and the Globoil Special Award 2006 for outstanding performance in Import and Export. Nutrela is the largest selling soya foods brand in the country, with more than 50% market share. Nutrela and Ruchi No. 1 vanaspati are regional leaders in their respective categories. The company has 300,000 retail stores, 38 company depots, 36 super stockists and a sales staff of over 200 across the country. The company exports its products to Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan and the Gulf countries.
