Excel Crop Care (XCLCROP) is engaged in the manufacture of agrochemicals. The company was incorporated in 1964. The company offers insecticides like endosulfan, chlorpyripho, profenophos, and imidachloprid; fungicides like sulfex (wettable sulfur); herbicides like isopropylamine salt of glyphosate, ammonium salt of glyphosate; rodenticides like zinc phosphide; fumigants like aluminium phosphide; other products like seed dressing and plant growth promoters; seeds; biologicals like composters, soil enrichers, organic fertilizers, nutrient mobilizers, seed growth enhancers, plant growth enhancers, and biopesticides; and the fishery segment product FishcelTM. The products are used in protection and enhancement of crops like cotton, mango, paddy, soyabeans, tur (pigeon pea) and vegetables. Some brand names include Tricel and Endocel. The manufacturing facilities are located in Bhavnagar, Gajod and Silvassa. The company has a distribution network of 40,000 dealers. Its technical actives are marketed in Asia Pacific, South Asia, West Asia, Africa, Central & South America and USA. The company has a subsidiary in Antwerp, Belgium. Exports presently account for about 25 % of the turnover. The company has acquired the business of marketing agri input products like soil enrichers, biopesticides and plant growth promoters of Excel Industries in 2007. It has also introduced mobile vans for delivery of products and has started four help centers for farmers. The registered office of the company is at 184-87, Swami Vivekanad Road, Jogeshwari (West), Mumbai-400102, Maharashtra.
