Future Capital Holdings Limited Company Profile

Future Capital Holdings, a subsidiary of Pantaloon Retail India (PRIL), is the financial services arm of the Future group registered as a non-banking financial company. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Oct. 18, 2005, became a public limited company on Aug. 31, 2006 and got the present name on Dec. 21, 2006. The company offers investment advice, retail finance and research services. It provides private equity and real estate investment advisory services to onshore and offshore clients. The company acts as the investment advisor to the INR 3,500 million Kshitij Venture Capital Fund, an onshore SEBI-registered venture capital fund. Offshore services are offered to the USD 425 million offshore private equity fund Indivision India Partners (the Indivision Fund); the USD 350 million offshore real estate fund Horizon Realty Fund, LLC (the Horizon Fund); and the USD 200 million offshore hotel fund, Indus Hotel Ventures LLC (the Indus Fund). Kshitij Investment Advisory Company and Indivision Investment Advisors are subsidiaries of the company. In June 2007, the company launched its retail financial services with Future Money and currently offers consumption loans to finance purchase of durables, furniture and other consumer goods and personal loans as unsecured credit lines to individual customers. In agreement with PRIL, the company provides financial products and services at malls, stores and retail outlets in India which are owned, controlled or managed by PRIL and its subsidiaries. It has an agreement with ICICI Bank for marketing and distributing credit cards offering loyalty points to customers and is finalizing corporate agency terms with group companies for general insurance products and life insurance products. Future Capital Research conducts and publishes economic research to enhance value creation across other businesses of the company.
