Jagran Prakashan (JAGRAN) is a media house which publishes the Dainik Jagran. The company was incorporated on July 18, 1975 as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company on Nov. 18, 2005. Dainik Jagran is one of the highest read national dailies in India. The company publishes 31 editions across 12 states. It also publishes Sakhi, a monthly magazine targeted at women; Jagran Varshika, an annual general knowledge digest; various national and state statistical compilations; City Plus, a weekly compact infotainment English newspaper targeting the youth and distributed free of cost; and I-Next, a daily compact bilingual newspaper targeting the youth. The company provides outdoor advertising and promotional marketing and event management services through its division Jagran Solutions. The division, Jagran Engage, provides specialized out-of-home advertising services with a Pan-India footprint. By the end of fiscal 2006-2007, the company had acquired properties at Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Surat, Hyderabad, ..etc., to provide displays to the advertisers across all important towns of the country. The company has a short message service 7272 for integrated voice recording and automatic voice recording for news, jokes, cricket, contests, and horoscope. An alliance agreement was entered into with Yahoo India, under which the company`s news portal jagran.com was co-branded as jagran.yahoo.in and Yahoo India would be responsible to host, maintain and market the website on revenue sharing basis. The company has a tie-up with Independent News & Media Group of Ireland. The registered office of the company is located at Jagran Building, 2 Sarvodaya Nagar, Kanpur-208005, Uttar Pradesh.
