Lanco Industries Limited Company Profile

Lanco Industries (LANINDUS) produces pig iron that is used in gray iron castings, cast iron spun pipes, and by integrated steel plants. The company also generates captive power using the waste heat of its blast furnaces. Lanco Kalahasti Castings has been amalgamated with the company and consumes a substantial portion of its pig iron production. Electrosteel Castings, which holds majority shares in the company, is the other captive consumer. Lanco Industries was originally promoted by Madhusudhan Rao and associates. Electrosteel Castings has now a controlling interest in the company and the present managing director is Mayank Kejriwal.
