Southern Ispat And Energy Limited Company Profile

Southern Ispat & Power (SOUTHISPQ), incorporated in 1995, is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of steel items such as mild steel (MS) ingots and cast iron molds. Earlier known as Southern Ispat, it got its present name on Jan. 16, 2008. The company has a steel plant at Pallakad in Kerala with an annual capacity to produce 50,000 MTPA construction grade steel products. It also has a sponge iron plant with a 25 MW captive power plant. The product portfolio of the company includes shots and grits, MS ingots, sponge iron, CTO bars, angles, steel billets, special mild-steel castings, high-carbon steel bars and rods hot-rolled in irregularly wound coils, non-alloy steel, and other products. Marketing its products in the Indian market, the company caters to customers like Scotfree Steels, Jayshankar Steels, Kaypee Metals & Alloys and Gasha Steels. The registered office is located at 19/629 (I), Sreyas, Near Yakkara Bus Stop, West Yakkara, Palakkad-678001, Kerala.
