Liberty Shoes (LIBERTY), promoted by the Liberty Group, manufactures and markets a range of leather and non-leather shoes. It was incorporated on Sept. 3, 1986. The company`s product range includes shoes for men, women and children in leather, thermoplastic urethane (TPU), ethyl vinyl acetate (EVC), poly urethane (PU), and thermo plastic elastomer. Brands include Coolers, Freedom, Footfun, Force 10, Fortune, Gliders, Tiptopp, Senorita, Warrior, and Windsor. The manufacturing facilities are in Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal. It is among the top five manufacturers of leather footwear in the world with an installed capacity of more than 10.5 million pairs. Liberty Retail Revolutions, a subsidiary, has started fashion accessory and footwear stores in Chennai, Bangalore , Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Delhi and NCR and Pune with upcoming Revolutions Stores in Noida, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. With 25 outlets in FY07, the company will open 50 franchisee stores under the brand Franchisee Foot Fashion. The company has also set up a joint venture (JV) with Pantaloon Retail called Foot Mart Retail India to retail footwear and other related accessories. The JV has established around 20 mega stores till June 2007. The company markets its shoes worldwide through 150 distributors, 350 exclusive showrooms and over 6,000 multi-brand outlets. International brands like Romika, Josef Siebel, Deichmann, Richter, Jela, Salamander, and Vanlten source their footwear from the company. The company has its presence in more than 25 countries including fashion-driven, quality-obsessed nations like USA, France, Italy, Spain, Singapore & Germany. The registered office is at Liberty Puram, 13th Mile Stone, G.T. Karnal Road, Kutail P. O. Bastara, Karnal, Haryana-132001 and corporate office at 2nd Floor, Building No. 8, Tower-B, DLF Cyber City, Phase-II, Gurgaon-122009, Haryana.
