TT, incorporated as a public limited company on Sep. 29, 1978, produces cotton, yarn, fabric, garments and accessories. Earlier known as Tirupati Texknit, it got its present name on Jan. 27, 1998. It is the flagship company of the 58-year-old T.T. group, a household name in textiles with its popular T.T. brand. The ISO 9001 certified company is a vertically integrated textile and garment producer. It has its processing units located at Gajroula, Gangeshwar, Tirupathi Om Kapileshwar, Gopeshwar and Gondal with installed capacities of 25,000 MTPA ginned cotton, 2 million knitted fabrics and 46,224 spindles as on Mar. 31, 2007. It has wind mills generating electricity for captive use in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. The company is a recipient of several awards for its exceptional quality and export performance and has been accorded the certificate of recognition as a trading house from the Government of India. It is one of the few companies to have its yarn OEKO certified as environmental friendly and has got certification from Control Union Certification for production of organic yarn. Major export destinations for its products include Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, China, Mauritius, Egypt, Brazil, Europe and USA besides India. The registered office is located at 879, Master Prithvi Nath Marg, TT Garment Park, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005.
