Vardhman Holdings Limited Company Profile

Vardhman Holdings (VARDHMNH) is a registered non-banking financial company. It was incorporated on Dec. 27, 1962 and got its current name on Mar. 27, 2006. The company is the investment arm of the Vardhman Group, one of the largest textile conglomerates in India having business interests in specialized yarns, fabrics, sewing threads, acrylic fiber and steel. Pursuant to demerger of the textile business in terms of the scheme of arrangement between the company and Vardhman Textiles (formerly known as Mahavir Spinning Mills) as sanctioned by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Mar. 4, 2005, the company has assets other than that related to the textile business, which mainly comprises of investments. The earnings at present are in the nature of dividends on investments. The registered office of the company is located at Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana-141010.
