CMC was incorporated on December 26, 1975 as a private company and went public on August 19, 1977. A part of the Tata group since 2001, CMC is a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services. It is an end-to-end IT solutions provider. The chairman is S. Ramadorai and Ramanathan Ramanan is the managing director and CEO of the company. It has a wholly-owned subsidiary, CMC Americas, which has offices across the US. CMC has partnerships with some of the biggest and best global IT companies, including Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft and Cisco. Clients include Bangalore Development Authority, Bank of Baroda, Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange, Kuwait Stock Exchange, Sun Microsystems etc. Its registered office is at Hyderabad and corporate office is located at New Delhi, India.
