Gujarat-based Deep Industries (DIL) was originally incorporated as Deep Roadways on Jan. 1, 1991. The name of the company was changed to the current one in Feb., 1997. It became a public limited company w.e.f May 2, 2002. DIL provides air and gas compression services such as supply and rental of equipment, operation & maintenance and execution of turnkey projects to oil and gas exploration companies. The company also provides transportation services for the transport of liquid. The primary activity of DIL includes providing compression services to its clients. The compressor packages owned by DIL are supplied by the most reputed packagers known all over the world, the Hanover Company, USA, Universal Compression Inc, USA, Valerus Compression Services, USA and Kirloskar Pneumatic. DIL is a member of International Association of Drilling Contractors. The company entered into gas compression equipment lease and service agreement with Hanover Asia Inc, USA for taking on lease gas compressors. It has also entered into sales representation agreement with Valerus Compression Services Limited Partnership, USA to act as sales representative in the Asian region. In 2006, the company entered into a memorandum of understanding with PT Indrillco Bakti, Jakarta, Indonesia for availing technical know-how in connection with work over services for 30 to 200 ton capacity rigs. Clients of the company include ONGC, GACL, IOC, etc.
