Entegra (ENTEGRA) is an integrated renewable energy company. It was incorporated on Feb. 10, 1995 and got its present name on Mar. 23, 2007.
The company is in the business of development of renewable energy, energy services, infrastructure development like ports, SEZs, mining and management of infrastructure development projects. The project management and consultancy services include project management and EPC, operation and maintenance, financial management, and turnkey services and solutions to new entrants in this area. It has promoted a hydel power project of 400 MW in the State of Madhya Pradesh involving a capital outlay of Rs. 22,450 million, which is to be completed by 2008. The company has identified coal mines in Indonesia for imports to serve the requirement of the energy sector.
In 2007, the company applied to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry for grant of SEZ license to develop the proposed renewable energy corridor in Nagpur in joint venture with IREDA and specific product (IT and ITES) SEZs in Raigad, Maharastra and Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is acquiring land in various states for wind power projects. It has signed a memorandum of understanding with EDIG Construction Management, Israel to become its sole and exclusive representative for the marketing of solarized turbine power plants in India. Enertech Biofuels is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
