Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) (KALINDRA), incorporated on Feb. 15, 1984, has established itself undertaking turnkey projects in railway infrastructure. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company undertakes turnkey projects involving railway safety signaling systems, fixed traction installations for electric traction, railway new line and gauge conversion railway yards, metro rail tracks, metro rail access control and fare collection systems, optical fiber and copper cable based telecom networks, wireless networks, microwave towers, civil works including earth work, building and bridges. It has successfully completed projects for the Konkan Railway, Delhi Metro and Rail Vikas Nigam among many others. Some of the recent projects undertaken include orders amounting to Rs 1,010 million from Delhi Metro and Indian Railways in joint venture with Samsung of Korea; numerous contracts from Rail Vikas Nigam like the Tomka-Keonjhar project in joint venture with HCIL and ARSS valued at Rs 720 million, the Villupuram-Mayiladuturai project in joint venture with Tata Projects (Hyderabad) and Unity Infraprojects (Mumbai) valued at Rs 1,820 million, the Gooty-Pullampet project in joint venture with Leighton Holdings (Singapore) valued at Rs 1027 million, the Palwal-Bhuteshwar project in joint venture with Cobra SA (Spain) valued at Rs 1187 million; and a contract from Reliance Energy valued at Rs 124.5 million to construct a railway siding at Yamuna Nagar among many other contracts.
