Deccan Cements Limited Company Profile

Deccan Cements (DCMSHRIN), incorporated on Jul. 31, 1979, is into the production of cement and generation of power through hydroelectric and wind power projects. It is part of the DCL group, which includes DCL Polyesters and Deccan Polypacks. The company manufactures ordinary portland cement and blended cements like slag cement at is plant located in the Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh with installed capacities of 297,000 TPA cement and 500,000 TPA slag cement. It is setting up a 1 million tonne cement plant and a captive power plant close to the existing plant at a cost of Rs.4,300 million. The company commissioned a wind farm project at Ramagiri in Andhra Pradesh in 1995 and set up a 1,650 KW wind mill in Tamil Nadu. The hydel power project is in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The registered office is located at Deccan Chambers, 6-3-666/B, 3rd Floor, Somajiguda, Hyderabad-500082.
