Honda Siel Power Products (HONDASIEL) is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing power products. Formerly known as Shriram Honda Power Equipment, the company was incorporated in 1985 and is a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Japan.
The company`s products include portable generators (handy series, silent series and LPG series), general purpose engines (portable), brush cutters, water pumps (portable), and lawnmowers (engine lawn movers). The company has its plants at Radrapur (Uttraranchal), Pondicherry and Greater Noida with a total production capacity of 175,000 units. The company gets technical inputs from Honda Motors, Japan. The product range of generators conforms to the phase II noise and emission norms laid down by the Central Pollution Control Board, Government of India. The company is ISO 9001:2000 certified for its quality assurance systems and ISO 14001 for its environment management systems.
The company has over 800 dealers and 15 area offices spread across the country. It is a recipient of an export house status. The company exports 40% of its products through the Honda worldwide distribution network to over 40 countries including Korea, the Middle East, and South Africa.
