Indo Tech Transformers (INDTRANS) is the flagship company of the Rs 1,000 million Indo Tech Group. It was established in 1976 as a player in the Indian electrical industry for power and distribution transformers.
Its products include distribution transformers, furnace transformers, mobile transformers, power substations, and special transformers. The company also involves in manufacturing electrical, electronic and computer hardware related products, and pre-stressed cement casting products. Indo Tech Transformers exports its products to the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Nigeria, Germany, Egypt, Singapore, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Japan, and Switzerland. INDTRANS is based in Chennai.
It is currently manufacturing largest mobile transformer of 60MVA capacity. It also obtained approval as a supplier of 132KV Power transformer for Power Grid Corporation of India
