Wendt India (WENDT), a joint venture between Wendt GmbH (Germany) and Carborundum Universal of the Murugappa group, is a producer of diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) products. It was incorporated on Aug. 21, 1980.
The company produces resin, metal, electroplated, vitrified bonded, diamond and CBN tools, diamond dressers and hones. Wendt manufactures wheels for various applications in tool making, automotive industry, steel plants, glass industry, ceramic industry, refractory industry, general tool rooms. It provides customer-specific solutions for grinding and honing, design and manufacture of special wheels, dressing attachments, dressing rolls and tools, and full service support.
The ISO 9001:2000 certified company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The registered office of the company is located at 4th Floor, Devatha Plaza, Residency Road, Bangalore-560025, Karnataka.
Financials
The company announced rise of 32.63% in consolidated net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 37.80 million, while total income rose 23.80% y-o-y basis to Rs 243.40 million for the quarter ended March 2011. |
