Kohinoor Foods (SATNAM), previously known as Satnam Overseas, is a global food company. It was incorporated in 1989. The company sells Basmati rice under its flagship brand Kohinoor and other brands like Trophy, Charminar, Rose, Shehanshah and Falcon. It offers convenience foods like Heat & East Curries, Rice & Spice Basmati Rice Pilafs, Rice & Curry Combi Meals, and Rice Treat Pre-Cooked Basmati Rice. Kohinoor Foods has two rice processing facilities in Murthal (Haryana) and Amritsar (Punjab) with a combined milling capacity of 40 MT/hour and a state-of-the-art food processing facility in Bahalgarh (Haryana) with a capacity of 50,000 pouches per day. Both the facilities at Haryana carry various global quality certifications for exports to foreign markets like BRC (UK), USFDA (US), EU-FSA (European Union), Halal (Middle East region) and Kosher (Israel). The company has set up a rice mill with a milling capacity of 8 MT/hour in Suffolk (UK). The company has a network of 150 distributors, 475 stockists and 240,000 retail outlets across the globe. It has a strong distribution network in 45 countries and wholly owned subsidiaries, Satnam Overseas Inc. in the US and Indo European Foods in the UK. The company has established a joint venture company Rich Rice Raisers Factory in Dubai to augment its marketing strengths in the Middle-East region. It supplies to 57 countries worldwide through 45 distributors. Kohinoor has institutional clientele like the Taj Group of Hotels, Oberoi Group of Hotels and ITC Sheraton Hotels. The registered office of the company is located at 201, Vipps Centre, Masjid Moth, Greater Kailash-II, New Delhi-110048.
