Ansal Housing and Construction, formerly known as Ansal Housing Finance & Leasing, is a construction and real estate development company incorporated in the year, 1983. The company`s principal activities involve the construction of malls, offices, hotels and residential townships and apartments. The company has developed many low and medium range residential properties, mainly in Northern India. AHCL`s residential townships include East End, Aashiana, Green Glades and Aavantika, to name a few. The company is in the process of developing more than 10 residential townships. Its completed residential apartments include Priyadarshini and Anand Dham. It is currently in the process of developing two apartments in Mumbai. The company has also developed malls, office spaces and hotels, which include Chancellor Club, Mega Arcade, Marriott WelcomHotel among others.
Ansal Housing & Construction had announced a phenomenal jump in net profits for the quarter ended September, 2006. During the quarter, the company`s net profit went up 2.29 times to Rs. 91.15 million from Rs. 39.89 million in the corresponding quarter. Sales for the quarter rose 82.40% to Rs. 477.90 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
Financials
The company reported rise of 55.02% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 69.64 million, while total income climbed 45.30% y-o-y basis to Rs 691.07 million for the quarter ended December 2010. |
