J. Kumar Infraprojects is a civil engineering and infrastructure development company. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Dec. 02, 1999 and was converted into a public limited company with the present name on and Jan. 31, 2007. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company undertakes infrastructure projects in transportation engineering including construction of rigid and flexible pavement roads, flyovers, bridges, grade separators, railway terminus and stations, roads over and under bridges, runways in airports; civil construction of commercial buildings, sports complexes, and swimming pools; irrigation projects including construction of earthen dams, minor irrigation tanks, spillways, canals, and aqueducts; and piling work using hydraulic piling rigs. It engages in projects on contract as well as turnkey basis including electrification work and undertakes piling of foundation work using hydraulic piling rigs for major projects awarded to other contractors. Recent projects completed include the construction of civil work, water supply, electrical, drainage and allied works for a blue chip building in Andheri (E) valued at Rs 120 million and construction of a new bridge over the Mithi river valued at Rs 164.8 million. Current projects include the extension and strengthening of apron and existing taxi track and construction of a new link taxi track along with shoulders at Pune Airport valued at Rs 66.4 million, a grade separator at Mahavir Chowk and Shivaji Chowk in Chinchwad, Pune valued at Rs 365.3 million, and a flyover across S.V. Road at the junction of Barfiwala Junction, Mumbai valued at Rs 278.6 million. The company caters to government bodies like Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and private companies including Indiabulls Real Estate Company and SMC Infrastructures to name a few.
